Alex Atkins MSc, MRICS
Principal & Chartered Building Surveyor
Alex Atkins is a chartered building surveyor and project manager with more than thirteen years' post‑qualification experience, and a chartered member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors since 2013. He founded Sofito Consultancy to bring the discipline of large, complex programmes to every instruction, from a single family home to a multi‑site commercial portfolio.
His career spans some of the most demanding environments in the profession: defence and government infrastructure, diplomatic facilities, high‑net‑worth private estates, and international technical due diligence across the UK and Europe. Before Sofito, he founded and led a RICS‑regulated practice that grew to a team of nine, directing project management, JCT contract administration and due diligence across concurrent, high‑stakes programmes.
That background shapes how Sofito works: a clear command of the brief, disciplined risk management, and the authority to hold a project together under pressure, delivered with the clarity and personal attention clients value most.

- MRICS — Chartered Member, Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors (since 2013)
- MSc Building Surveying — London South Bank University
- BA (Hons) Business & Management — University of Sheffield
